In Memoriam: Romeo Marra

Swim Ontario is saddened to hear about the passing of official Romeo Marra after a courageous battle with cancer.

Romeo was a long time member of the Etobicoke Swim Club, first as a parent, and then progressing as a Level 3 official, officials coordinator, meet manager, and then eventually as the club's general manager. He was always a friendly face on the pool deck, ready to volunteer and lend a hand in any way that he could.

Our thoughts are with his family, friends, and with ESWIM during this time, and he will be greatly missed in the Ontario Swimming community.
