RATIONALE

To provide a senior level racing opportunity outside of Ontario for swimmers along the podium development pathway.

TOUR DATES - November 25-December 1, 2025

COMPETITION DATES - November 27-December 30, 2025

LOCATION - Quebec City, QC

SWIMMER PARTICIPATION FEE - $750.00

SWIMMER ELIGIBILITY

  • Year of Birth 2009-2012
  • Swimmers must be fully registered with with an ACTIVE status in the REMS system
  • Swimmers must be eligible to represent Canada internationally
  • Swimmers must meet Age of Eligibility listed above to be considered
  • Swimmers must meet the qualifying standard for the competition
  • Must be training full time with a Swim Ontario affiliated program or the High Performance Centre Ontario (HPCO)
  • Swimmers selected to the National Development Camp in Vancouver or National Distance Camp in Australia are not eligible to attend this tour.

PERFORMANCE WINDOW

January 1 - August 31, 2025 (LCM Events Only)

PERFORMANCE ELIGIBILITY

  • Only LCM performances in defined events during the stated performance window are eligible.
  • Participating swimmers must meet the Qualifying Standards for the 2025 Quebec Cup.
  • Performances must appear on SwimRankings.net in order to be eligible for consideration
  • Performances not appearing on SwimRankings.net, or outside of the performance window will not be considered.

SELECTION PRIORITIES

Priority 1:

  • Highest ranked swimmer in the combined aged provincial rankings using swimrankings.net in the following events;
    • 100/200/400/800/1500 Free
    • 100/200 Back
    • 100/200 Breast
    • 100/200 Butterfly
    • 200/400 Individual Medley
  • Swim Ontario reserves the right to not select a full complement of swimmers or add swimmers who demonstrate performance proficiency over all of the selection events.

PARTICIPANT EXPECTATIONS

  • Swimmer must be in good health and injury free to participate.
  • Selected swimmers must be in full training with their home club program
  • Must be able to compete fully in all entered events.

TRAVEL AND ACCOMMODATION

  • Selected swimmers are expected to stay with the team throughout the camp.
  • Accommodation for all attending swimmers and coaches will be coordinated by the Swim Ontario Provincial Teams Coordinator.
  • Swimmers and Coaches are responsible for their travel to and from the camp.

In the event of unforeseen or unusual circumstances, Swim Ontario Technical Staff, under the direction of the CEO, has the full discretion to resolve the matter as it sees fit, taking into account factors and circumstances that it deems relevant.

The Swim Ontario technical staff reserves the right to make changes to this document at its discretion. Any changes to this document shall be communicated directly to all eligible participants through their Coach of Record and published on the Swim Ontario website.
